The City Council Conduct Pledge

By endorsing this pledge, signatories affirm a shared commitment to restoring trust, stability, and effective governance in the City of Lynchburg.
Why It Matters: Local government depends on public trust, and that trust is built through consistent, professional, and accountable conduct. When basic norms of governance break down—when meetings lose focus, procedures are misused, and public business is delayed or obscured—residents lose confidence in the institution meant to serve them.
